- The holiday season of 2019 has brought with it Eorzea's yearly Starlight Celebration! A favorite of many of our HAVEN members, Starlight Celebration brings with it all the holiday cheer many look forward to all year. Here, you can see some of our members are already dressed and ready for the festivities!
- This year the prizes from the event include a super cute barding for your chocobos!
- Huge congratulations to Areli and Qara on their first anniversary! Everyone in HAVEN knows how much love these two have for each other. It's no unusual thing to hear Qara fondly call Areli her 'wusband'. HAVEN wishes the two of you a happy day and more fun years to come!
- Remember back in April of 2019 when the majority of our active members fantasiad into Miqotes? Well... guess which race gets it's turn this month?
- And of course this has absolutely nothing to do with wanting to see the inside of the super cool dwarf-only housing found within the Shadowbringers content!
- The release of The Firmament brings a whole new world for our crafters to participate in. Another turn-in system can be found here which returns great experience points as well as a new type of currency which participants can trade for cool gifts such as new glamour gear and a new hairstyle!
- Many are also beginning to speculate that perhaps this is the beginning of the long awaited Ishgard Housing! It would be a lie to say it didn't look quite like a housing ward in ruins.
- Now that we have transitioned to life in the Mists, our members decided a fresh look for the house would be a grand idea. With the release of the Trader's Mansion walls, we knew it was just the thing we were looking for.
- The white picket fence and flower decorations were immediately eye-catching, just try to ignore the slightly interesting roof design...
- Remember our previous posts talking about the incredible beauty of Shadowbringers? The newest dungeon is absolutely proof! Screenshots just don't do the beauty of The Grand Cosmos any justice at all!
- Do we have any fans of NieR Automata in HAVEN?
- If so, you are going to absolutely love the level 80 raids! Square Enix has partnered with the creators of the NieR world including YOKO TARO to bring us the incredible experience of The Copied Factory!
- From the scenery to the characters involved, everything will put any fans of NieR straight back into the world of the androids.
- All Saints' Wake has made it's return to Eorzea for 2019! This year some of the amazing prizes include a Halloween themed mount and a Pumpkin Carriage for your yard! Don't forget to stop by and claim these super spooky prizes for yourself! (And as always, you must dress the part!)
- As anyone knows whose tried, leveling blue mage is incredibly easier with a little help from your non-blue mage friends. Of course, if you're leveling with a bunch of people in blue, you have to fit in!
- HAVEN loves to help it's members and leveling blue mage was no different. If anyone ever needs a little help getting some levels in, don't be afraid to give a little shout out.
- Square Enix has done an amazing partnership with Monster Hunter!
- Rathalos, a great and powerful dragon, has come to Eorzea and only the Warrior of Light can banish the thing from the realm. The hunt calls to you, adventurer!
- If you complete the Extreme version, as our members above are pictured having just complete, you can win scales off your defeated foe. Gather enough scales and you can even win the dragon himself as a mount!
- The Moonfire Faire is back in town for 2019! It's an event for swimsuits and summertime fun with friends. This year, there's even a very cool jump puzzle included in the event. Can you make it to the top?
- Don't forget to drop by and claim your prizes including a very cool kiddie pool and wind chime stand this year!
- As always, each expansion is quickly followed by it's first set of raids. Shadowbringers chose to bring back some interesting memories with its first set of raids. These mechanics are a bit too familiar to some of us, yet far more difficult. What a unique spin on memory!
- Finishing Shadowbringers is a sad yet happy event. For many of our members, this has been their all time favorite expansion and their reasons are obvious to anyone who has played through this story!
- The final dungeon of the main story was a heart-wrenching event. Yet, every moment was absolutely worth it.
- For the first time, but hopefully not the last, a bunch of our members met in real life to have their very own LAN FFXIV party! The set-up wasn't ideal, but who cares about small comforts when you are surrounded by your dearest friends.
- Of course, the whole thing did cause a few interesting moments... such as when everyone logged in at nearly exactly the same exact moment.
- With the increase in players due to Shadowbringers, it seems that Square Enix has finally listened to the pleas of it's people and released more wards in each of the housing districts!
- Thanks to our hard working members, especially those willing to wake up at extreme hours to do the task, we landed our very own mansion in the Mist!
- Don't forget to stop by and give it a look once it's all been decorated!
- This dungeon supplied some of the prettiest views... including a waterfall to jump down complete with birds flying by and light filtering through the trees!
- The second dungeon of Shadowbringers is no less impressive than the rest of the expansion so far!
- I can't be the only one who thinks this is one of the prettiest dungeons so far!
- One of our favorite parts of being in HAVEN is certainly running each new piece of content as a team. Not only does it brighten up each experience to live it with each other, but there's no weird strangers to have to deal with...
- Has everyone been able to go out and enjoy Shadowbringers yet? Each new area brings new sights to see and each of them are as impressive as the next! I think all of our members can agree that the new major city, The Crystarium, is a sight to behold indeed.
- Thank you so, so much to all of our members who made it to our last second gpose screenshot event. Thanks to all of your adaptiveness to the situation, we were able to get this beautiful new look for our website before the launch of Shadowbringers! There were so many amazing screenshots taken, it's just impossible to pick a few. - So many members were online for the first time in a while at the same time! We had to take advantage of this rare chance. But how to do it? Well, an old classic of course! Hide & Seek! We' d played in our home Goblet so many times, the FC decided to move to Shirogane and give it a try. We traveled to the ward of our FC's dear friend Merriman, and had a great time. From rooftops to gardens, nothing was off limits. Join us next time for all the fun!
- Early access for Shadowbringers is less than 10 days away! Are you ready wanderers? Do you have any less minute preparation to do? I know all of our members are extremely excited for the new expansion. Whether it be because of the story, the fights, or the fact alone that all our hiatus members will be returning, there's something for everyone to be excited for. A few of our members are trying to quickly level that last class to 70 before the expansion drop. Are you one of them? Let the rest of us know and we will definitely help you reach that goal in any way we can. Good luck, friends!
- We had so many people online it only felt right to do something fun together! So, one of our members explained a really fun game for all of us to play. The rules were simple, but the risks were high.
- Everyone in the party uses /random to roll a random number each turn.
- Whoever rolls the lowest number has to strip a piece of clothing off their character.
- Once you are completely naked, you lose the game.
- Whoever wins, gets to ask whatever they want (within reason) of the rest of the party.
- There were so many laughs and so much fun to be had with the people in our party and I'm so incredibly glad the game was introduced to FC. I'm sure there will be many more games played in the coming future. Be prepared friends, and remember to hope for good luck! There's no telling what will be asked of you!
- One of our members had the fantastic idea of doing a beach themed outfit contest. So many members participated and we had an amazing time! Of course, there had to be photos taken to commemorate the fun event. We had the toughest time finding a beach with good weather! Thank you to everyone who participated and made the event as fun as it was!
- Some of our members may or may not have peer pressured each other into buying those fantasias to become all kitty cats! There were so many of us who were miqo'tes at the time, it felt like the perfect opportunity to try to take over!
- Well.. we tried. We weren't entirely successful in a full take over, but it was fun seeing so many none the less!
- If you've been in the FC for very long, you're probably already aware of how we enjoy farming for mounts together. Our FC loves doing things together with each other and one of the easiest and funnest things is to farm ponies, birds, and doggos. If any of our members are ever after any specific mount, they have but to ask and there will be help!
- Many of our members agree that one of the funnest parts of a new patch is doing any new raids totally blind to mechanics. Running blind can be aggravating for some, but for us its so much fun as we all scream about dying and generally suck at everything.
- This go-around, I am proud to announce that everyone was able to actually clear the new raid, The Orbonne Monastery, on our very first try! Even if we only had such a short amount of time left on the clock, I'm still proud of our members accomplishments.
