- Starlight Celebration has just gotten started and it's simply magical. Run over to Gridania to participate in the most wonderful time of the year and play your part as a choir director. - Since it was that time of year, we all happened to be wearing our favorite christmas glamours when we entered an Expert Roul together... We happened to queue into The Burn and when Qara set foot upon the iconic hill on which many gpose shots have been taken, we couldn't help but stop and take some cute holiday shots!

- After the beautiful eternal bonding of Areli and Qara, the FC decided to do a super fun game of hide and seek in the FC home ward! After a few turns and some really neat hiding spaces, the FC moved on to the Mist, the same ward as our member Lia's personal home. After putting on our favorite swimsuits, we hunted for the best spots. So many of the participants found some crazy cool hiding spots! Some were just impossible to find even though they were hiding in plain sight!
- Make sure to keep an eye on the website for our next event and be sure to join in!
- Everyone be sure to congratulate two of our favorite members, Qara and Areli, on their eternal bonding! The ceremony was absolutely stunning to see. All the colors flowed beautifully the entire atmosphere they created just felt so wonderfully awe-inspiring. Every member of the audience was thrilled to be part of this amazing moment.
- To make it even better... the two newlyweds asked all their friends to wear a specific color scheme and it really just gave the perfect touch to the event!
- Ever wondered how difficult it would be to find someone if name tags were off and they were able to hide anywhere they wanted? Well... if that specific curiosity is something you'd be interested in, now is your chance!
- On Saturday, Nov. 11th, HAVEN will be playing a game of Hide & Seek in our FC ward. We will begin the hide and seek as an event following the eternal bonding of Areli and Qara. Even if you can't make it online soon enough to join in their festivities, you may not be too late to join in on this!
- THE RULES:
- Name tags must be off.
- The NIN ability Hide is not allowed.
- You have to hide outside, not inside apartments or houses.
- Have fun!
- It's a bit late to update you guys, but in case you didn't know... All Saint's Wake is currently being celebrated in Eorzea! To participate in the events head over to Gridania and look for the seasonal event npc!
- This years prizes include two adorable little ghost minions! Don't miss out!
- The event itself holds the same fun mini-game like activities as last years. If you didn't experience the fun last year, be sure to grab a fellow Wanderer to help you learn all the cool ways to take advantage of this super fun event.
- Everyone gets super excited upon reaching the final floor of maps! It's such a rare occurrence and an amazingly exciting one! What rare, costly loot waits for you on this golden-filled floor? For one of our members, this was the first time they'd ever reached the elusive end. Make sure to join us next time for another chance to reach the end!
- Another week, another fashion report. This week's report certainly gave off a very farmer-like feeling. The poncho and the pants actually didn't look half bad together... if only the colors weren't atrocious.
- Thanks again to all our wonderful members for participating together. Every event is so much more fun when we do it with friends.
- For those of you who often join in the Discord voice chat, Chii Matsuo will be hosting a country music marathon night using our favorite bot, Fredboat. The music will range from oldies but goodies to modern hits. The event will begin around 7pm est!
- For those of you who have never been in the voice chat but are excited for this event or events like it, know that it's never too late to join in on the fun! Everyone is welcome!
- Keep in mind that if you are one of our active voice chat members who happens to have a distaste for country music, it is possible to mute the bot so that you don't have to listen to the event's music. Everyone has different tastes, after all! Don't be scared to hop in and talk to us even if you don't approve of the music choice for the night.
- Let's all be honest with each other, the new alphascape bosses are truly a pain sometimes! However, when we work together we can accomplish anything. Thank you to all our wonderful members who helped each other slowly but surely kill off these omega bosses!

- With a new patch comes new dungeons. As always, the FC ran our first time together blind. We found this beautiful location and could not possibly walk away without taking some pictures. This dungeon truly is very beautiful!
- (Even if the final boss is a pain in the rear end...)
- It's almost that time of year... the time of the spoopy. All beware for the members of HAVEN have been turned into ghosts! They've been found all over the place, haunting the FC and scaring our poor member Anggel in train savage!
- Farming mounts has always been a fun thing to do together since we first started farming ponies with each other all those days ago. Slowly, but surely everyone in the FC will have all the ponies and all the birds!
- Join in next time for lots of laughs and deaths and possibly a reward at the end.
- After much debate, and for many reasons, the FC has decided to re-name ourselves. We are no longer ASHES, but HAVEN. We are no longer Phoenix Guard, but The Wanderers. We hope that this inspires a sense of home for all of you. A place where everyone who has gone through many bad FCs and had many bad experiences can finally find a place to call their own. Each and every member is so important to us. We hope you all love the new name as much as we do.
- That's right. The FC ran an all tank Raba run and it was actually... really easy. I think we're gonna do this for our Raba Coin every week! Next time... lighthouse?
- If you haven't been online lately... There are no words I can use to explain how the 'Cult of Q' became a thing. You'll have to catch up with one of us who were made to be a part of it. Just know... It was not Q who made her own cult. It just... happened.
- Anyway! This week's fashion report was really easy... but the colors required matched Qara's hair precisely! Suffice it to say, the Cult of Q was quite happy with this. (And so was Q herself.)
- The endless week after week of farming new content raids can get tedious... Thankfully, we all try to do our weekly drop together so that it doesn't feel quite so bad.
- Sometimes, we get lucky enough to have 8 members online who all want to run the raid. There's nothing more fun than doing stuff together. We can laugh at the dummies, and our own mistakes. We can celebrate the little victories. The best part is, no one knows that the entire alliance is made of a group of friends probably talking about all of them.
- Many newer players have never even touched the Alexander raids, much less their savage versions. But when this week's fashion report details were figured out, ASHES members realized that those of us who hadn't accomplished the feat were about to.
- In other words, thank you to all our members who helped the rest of us clear some Alexander Savage for the first time.
- None of us expected this year's Rising event to be the way it was... but it was an incredible amount of fun to experience together. Thank you all for joining and creating even more wonderful memories.
- Yoshida says in his cutscene, "I often find myself wondering, what do you and yours think of this realm? Since you first set foot upon it, has it become a place that you might call home, to which you ever look forward to returning?"
- My answer is a wholehearted, intensely felt: Yes! The Rising event is meant for all the players to look back at the memories and important moments of this game. To me, there are few things as precious as my time spent here with friends which will certainly last a life time.
- There are no words to describe how much fun and how touched we are as an FC for the event Bael hosted for all of us. As a grand hurrah for his journey with us and a thank you for everything, Bael put together a spectacular event.
- It required everyone to solve a riddle which lead to a location linked to a particular person in the FC. From there, those that participated were to take a screenshot together. If the guess was correct, Bael awarded the person linked to that location a special gift.
- Some of us were even given the simply amazing gift of art drawn of ourselves!

- Our event coordinator, Areli, and member Gateau put on a crossdressing event! Male characters were to dress up as females, and females as males. I'd say the event went pretty well. What do you guys think?

- We finally made a way to get to the top of our shirogane castle roof! Can you figure it out? Make sure you send a picture of your self up in the sky to one of the leaders!

- Isn't it frustrating when reaching your goal is just barely out of reach? Well, our very own Yuuki was soooo close to finally hitting 70 on their ninja... We just had to help them get over that hump! ASHES will always do everything they can to help all of our members! No matter what you need help with, we will be there.
- The best part of new content is learning it together. Can't you tell how much fun we are all having? On the plus side, not only is this new dungeon so much fun, but it also drops some really cute gear sets!
- The Fashion Report added to the game is just an... interesting take on fashion taste to say the least. Anyone who has participated in this Gold Saucer event can speak to the truth of that. What can you do but smile, shake your head, and watch as you earn top marks for looking like a trash bag? Well, you can do it with your friends!

- With a little help from Qara and Chii, our balcony is now accessible! Sure.. it takes a little bit of tricky jumping, but anyone can now enjoy the breeze from above.
- Poor Areli couldn't figure out a way to get up there for the longest time! Turns out, the answer is quite simple! All you have to do is lower your frame rate some. Users with very high fps can't clip onto the edge of the balcony in order to hop on. If you are having troubles, try to limit your fps under settings and see if that does the trick!
- For those of you who can't figure out how to get up, follow this simple guide above. Jump onto the plantar, then to the lamp, up to the chocobo stable, onto the lamppost, onto the edge of the balcony, and over! If you have troubles jumping from the lamp to the stable, you can hop onto the deck to make it easier.
- Believe it or not... ASHES finally has a castle! So many thanks to everyone who helped gather the materials, including our members Lia, Areli, Qara, and Tamlen! Super special thanks to Lia for crafting so much in order to help our dream come true! Just look how amazing it is!
