Thanks to our wonderful member, Lia Lux, we can now stand up on top of our FC home roof! The view from above is beautiful as we look down upon all the little people. I'm sure everyone knows where we will be going afk from now on...
To get up, walk around the side of the house and look for the arch shown below. On the other side there is a stump. Sit on it and jump!
Everyone who has done one knows how frustrating winning a GATE in the Gold Saucer can be. Sometimes, it's all just based on luck. Thankfully, often times we get to deal with the frustration as a team.
And when you finally win.. well, let's just say our form of celebrating is collapsing exhausted.
It's been a while since Phoenix Guard held an event, so why not start with something everybody loves? Mounts! Now that Stormblood has come out and everyone is lvl 70, farming birds is easier than ever!
If you want a bird mount, join us this weekend for what is absolutely sure to lead to laughter and memories that will last forever.
For the first time in a while, a group of us were online that usually aren't on at the same times. Thankfully, our member Areli and a few others decided we could do some maps to celebrate all of us being together! We didn't get very deep, but we had a lot of fun!
The best.. or possibly worst, depending on who you ask, part about buying a new house is finding out just how you want to decorate it! There are so many options and yet so few. Still, we will eventually find the pieces that make this house our home. I hope everyone enjoys our house as it undergoes renovation while the founders strive to make it wonderful.

Yesterday, Oct. 10th 2017, ASHES finally won our very own house!
Despite having to fight in Shirogane EX, we were able to grab a medium home to call our own. In the new housing area too! We will have to wait for the inflation in the markets to calm down, but we will decorate as soon as we can! In the meantime, everyone please send ideas or suggestions to one of the founders: Lia, Qara, Aren, Chii, or Areli. We will be working to make our new home a safe and enjoyable space for all.

Sometimes, the members of Phoenix like to mix things up and do something really dumb just to see what happens. Today started off as a normal roulette run with friends but turned into something much more... fun.
One of the best aspects of being a Phoenix is the awesome memories from simply hanging out.
After being disappointed with the rain in both The Mists and Costa del Sol, we made our way to The Forgotten Springs to hopefully enjoy some relaxing hot springs. Even though we all missed the beach, the hot springs are just as wonderful.
When someone joins Phoenix Guard, we do all we can to make them feel as welcome as possible! We love new people because that means new friends! If you want an FC that automatically feels like family, you've found the right place.
Shhhhh... Don't tell Square Enix but some of our members found a way outside of the map and took some awesome screenshots. There are all sorts of cool out of bounds locations that Square Enix hasn't fixed yet.
For our first event as an FC we played Hide & Seek in Lavender Beds. We took turns hiding anywhere in the area and found many great places! (And learned that sometimes the best place is right in front of your eyes.) Come out to our next event for more laughs and fun. See you then!
Everyone who has played FFXIV for long enough, knows the horrors of trying to do the main scenario for the first time and fighting duty finder groups to watch the cut scenes. Cut scenes which are really important to the story line! Not to worry, though. We in Phoenix Guard would never let our members suffer such a fate. No matter how long it takes, we will always find the time to help our new members through without having them suffer at the hands of random strangers.
Aka. We helped our new member, Zahir, with his main scenario quests and had tons of fun in the process.
Ever wondered how difficult it would be to find someone if name tags were off and they were able to hide anywhere they wanted? Well... if that specific curiosity is something you'd be interested in, now is your chance!
On Saturday, Aug. 26th, Phoenix Guard will be playing a game of Hide & Seek in Lavender Beds, 6th ward. We will be meeting at the Lily Hills apartments around 8:00PM EST.
THE RULES:
Name tags must be off.
The NIN ability Hide is not allowed.
You have to hide outside, not inside apartments or houses.
Beginning yesterday, our FC has begun a new tradition: Map Mondays!
We will be focusing on the level 70 Timeworn Gazelleskin Maps, but if anyone has other level maps they would like to contribute, we can definitely do those as well! It's a fun event to have the whole team get together with the possibility of some awesome loot! So, come out on Monday nights to enjoy some laughs with Phoenix Guard!
Doing activities together is one of the best parts of being in an FC, especially one filled with friends. What is possibly better to do together than treasure hunting and hoping for some awesome loot? Making memories while doing so!
Goals can be achieved if only one has the patience to wait and work towards them. Good job and congratulations to all the members of Phoenix Guard! We did it!
As all of us strive to get our FC to the highest possible rank, it's important to celebrate the little victories. Rank 8 may seem forever away, but at least we've made it halfway there!
When a phoenix dies, it is reborn from its ashes. Just as the phoenix, Phoenix Guard rises from the ashes of its member's pasts. Here is to the brilliant future of our FC.
